Reduces substrate absorbency
- For priming low-absorbent and highly absorbent substrates.
- Prevents subsequent fillers or thin-bed mortars from drying out too quickly.
The good adhesive bond improves the adhesion of fillers and thin-bed mortars.
The deep-working action effectively binds fine dust.
Ready to use
- Can be used directly from the container
- No mixing required
- Fast application
- Fast drying
The blue colour makes it easy to see which surfaces have been treated.
Low odour
Solvent free

Fire behaviour classified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13501-1: E
EMICODE EC1plus: Very low emissions: The EMICODE classification system distinguishes the environmental and health compatibility of construction products. The lowest-emission products bear the EC1plus mark.
CERAfix 101 must be dry before the next coat is applied. Cover surfaces not to be treated (e.g. windows and doors) prior to application. Surface must not be sticky when further work is carried out! Do not work 'wet on wet'. Protect from frost.
Recognised technical regulations apply along with current standards and ZDB information leaflets.

CERAfix 101 is used to prime highly absorbent and non-absorbent substrates made from cement and gypsum materials, concrete, plaster, masonry etc. CERAfix 101 improves adhesion, bonds construction dust and solidifies the substrate. Reliably reduces substrate absorbency to prevent the rapid extraction of water from fillers and tile adhesives. CERAfix 101 is used as a system primer for CERAfix seals, fillers and levelling compounds and for tile adhesives in indoor and outdoor applications.
GISCODE: D1 drying time approx. 15-45 minutes depending on the substrate.
The substrate must be solid, load bearing, clean, dry and free from adhesion-impairing substances and continuous cracks. Apply the material using a brush or fine-pore foam roller. Material consumption approx. 30-100 g/m2. Avoid over-saturating the substrate or creating puddles of material. Allow CERAfix 101 to dry fully before carrying out further work. Drying time approx. 15-45 min.
