General:


The Self Lock Nut incorporates a self-locking feature in the female thread. This is known as a modified thread profile and consists of wedge surfaces. These wedge surfaces point towards the screw direction loading direction.


The wedge surfaces have a pitch angle of 30°, which produces a self-locking effect in the connection.
