  • Metal detector compatibility: The Ty-Rap TyGenic cable ties are compatible with all metal detectors available on the market. We recommend setting your detector to a detection threshold of 1.5 mm or higher (Equivalent Ferrous Sphere).

  • Important for your calibration: Please calibrate your metal detector specifically for your production line. We recommend using the head section of the cable tie as a sample for calibration, as this offers the best detectability. When calibrating, also consider your specific cleaning processes and maintenance procedures.

  • Metal content and antimicrobial properties: The metal content is unchanged from the standard version. The innovation lies in the improved antimicrobial effect - 99 % effectiveness, tested in accordance with ISO 22196.

  • Quality control: All cable ties are tested for detectability in series production settings.
