For closing, filling and repairing scratches, cracks, open joints, holes, pressure areas, crushed and broken edges, as well as for securing broken bolts, hinges, bushings and fittings.
First remove pressed in and loose parts. Ratio of 2 cm (repair filler): 1 cm (hardener). Both components are mixed intensively—within a minute where possible—as the mixture sets within 4–8 minutes. In small portions, the filler must be firmly pushed into the repair area in order to achieve optimum anchoring. Using the glass transparent film, which is first placed onto the area, the excess compound is scraped outwards using the plastic plane. When mixing, ensure that the compound does not become too hard.
The film can be removed after 5–10 minutes; clean the spatula, mixing plate and the film with correction solvent before hardening. Further processing can take place when the surface is no longer tacky when under load. The compound is fully hardened after approx. 20 to 30 minutes. Excess material can be scraped away with the plastic plane. To level the surface, carefully sand the area with sandpaper, which is located inside the plane. The colour of touch-up areas can be adjusted using the retouching paint box. A clear varnish can be used to alter the level of the gloss, which seals the damaged area.
