- Bi-metal design with spring steel carrier and teeth made of cobalt steel M42.
- New unique, patented tooth geometry made from M42 bi-metal (WO 02/42029 A1).
- Covers a wide range of applications and material thicknesses with only 3 tooth types
- Reduces setup and downtimes due to simple blade selection
- Very versatile, can be used for applications such as solid materials, pipes, profiles, bundles and contours.
- Trouble-free sawing of a wide range of materials, including structural steels, stainless steels, tool steels, cast metals, non-ferrous metals (aluminium, copper and brass) and even plastic.
- Reinforced backs of teeth for extra resilience.
- 2 to 3 times longer service life than conventional bandsaw blades.
- Cost saving due to minimal setup and downtimes
The M42 tooth tips offer a high degree of heat resistance and performance, regardless of the cutting fluid used.
The ZEBRA multi-purpose bandsaw blade is very aggressive and has excellent penetration performance. For this reason, there are a few points to consider when using:
- Tension the saw blade well to prevent vibration at the teeth.
- Carefully guide the saw blade to the material to be cut.
- Apply moderate pressure (approx. 30 % to 40 % less than with conventional saw blades), especially when cutting profiles.
