Instructions
To upgrade the XL with additional print heads, make sure that you have the tools listed below available. These are part of the Original Prusa XL package and should already be available.
Tools required for installation
- Mini wrench - used to calibrate the dock and can be replaced with a small slotted screwdriver if required
- Universal wrench - used to calibrate the dock
- PH2 screwdriver - a standard PH2 screwdriver is required for the clamping screws
- Needle-nose pliers
- T10 key - at least 71 mm long
- 2.5 mm hex key - at least 86 mm long, as thin as possible due to space limitations
- 3.0 mm hex key - at least 128 mm long
