- The connection hose can be angled at least 180° without kinking
- The connection can be rotated 360° and reliably prevents the pneumatic hose from twisting
- A pressure gauge can be connected directly to the swivel joint to measure the working pressure directly at the pneumatic tool

Each connection leads to pressure losses. For this reason, a pneumatic system should only have as many connections as absolutely necessary. Insufficient operating pressure leads to performance losses.
