Primer for Metal reacts with moisture. To maintain the quality of the primer, close the can immediately after use with the inside plastic cover. When pre-treatment is finished, close the can with the screw lid.
Once opened, Primer for Metal should be used up within approx. one month if used on a regular basis. If the can is rarely opened, the primer should be used up within 2 months. Discontinue use of Primer for Metal if it gels, is not homogeneous or is too viscous.
Do not dilute Primer for Metal or mix with other substances.
The previous layer must be completely set and dry before each step.

Datasheets(X)
Acts like a bonding agent between adhesives and metallic materials (steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel (hot-dip or galvanic), aluminium, anodised aluminium, copper, brass, zinc). Primer for Metal is not an anti-corrosion protection agent!
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. For this purpose, non-load-bearing or loose layers must first be removed. Then either spray the surfaces with a thin coating of Activating Cleaner and wipe off with a clean cloth or absorbent paper, or spray Activating Cleaner onto a cloth and wipe down the adhesive surfaces. The adhesive effect can be improved by additional pre-treatment steps such as sanding, cleaning and activating. Shake Primer for Metal well until the steel ball in the container can easily be heard. Continue shaking for a minute.
Apply a thin but opaque, uniform layer of Primer for Metal with a felt brush. Always wipe in one direction when doing so. The ideal application temperature is 15°C–25°C.
Apply Primer for Metal only once. Make sure that the layer is uniform and opaque. Observe the flash-off times!
Close the container again tightly after each use.
