Application area

For various applications in construction, window construction, trade fair construction, metal construction, apparatus construction and plant construction, electrical installation, various industrial areas etc.

Ideal for transparent and elastic adhesives on structures and construction applications both indoors and outdoors, such as window sills, strips, baseboards, battens, panel materials and insulating materials. Also suitable for the sealing of joints, seams and gaps in glazing, plastic frames/frames, walls, fascia boards, roofing, gutters, skylights and chimneys. Also for invisible bonding of glass and other transparent materials in indoor areas, such as glass bonding in furniture and display case construction, decoration objects, sign attachment etc.

Suitable for all common construction surfaces such as glass, fibreglass, aluminium, steel/iron, stainless steel, stone, natural and synthetic stone, concrete, aerated concrete, gypsum, gypsum plasterboard, cement fibreboards, polystyrene, polyurethane, enamel, ceramic, HPL, wood, cork, decorative and laminated panels.

Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, PA (nylon), neoprene, silicone, pure gypsum, bitumen or acrylic glass.

The application surfaces must be solid, clean and free of grease and oil. The substrate can also be slightly damp. The temperature of the environment, the adhesive and the materials to be adhered must not be lower than +5°C.

Porous surfaces with greater water load must be primed with deep-penetrating primer. On all smooth surfaces (except glass) we recommend pre-cleaning and pre-greasing with IPA cleaner.

Cut off thread cap of the cartridge, screw on nozzle and cut to the required strand width. Alternatively, the V-Cut special cartridge nozzle can be used. Apply the adhesive using a suitable application gun. Apply the adhesive evenly in vertical beads or blobs at intervals of 10 to 40 cm, depending on the weight of the material. Place the workpieces in the correct position within the skin formation time and press these together to ensure that the thickness of the adhesive is at least 2–3 mm between the material and surface. Fasten/press the parts together after joining until the functional strength is reached. Reseal the opened cartridge so that it is airtight. Remove any adhesive that has escaped while it is still fresh. Hardened adhesive can only be cleaned off mechanically.

Cut off the thread cap of the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and cut the tip off diagonally. Apply the adhesive using a suitable application gun. Apply the adhesive down to the base of the joint and within 10 minutes smooth out with sealant smoothing agent using your finger, a spatula or a joint smoother. Smooth vertical joint from bottom to top. Reseal the opened cartridge so that it is airtight. Remove any adhesive that has escaped while it is still fresh. Hardened adhesive can only be cleaned off mechanically.
