If the vehicle's rear number plate mounting point is too narrow, it may be sensible to screw the clip to the red number plate upside down. It is then attached to the vehicle from the top downward.

Suitable for almost all number plate holders. Also suitable for curved number plate holders.
Use: The number plate is fastened to the quick-mount NPH clip with two screws. We recommend screwing the clips 60 mm from the top edge of the number plate and 122 mm from both the left and the right sides using the mounting holes provided on the number plate. Pay attention to any applicable tolerances. The unit is now pushed from below (or from above if appropriate) into the closed number plate holder. Then push in the number plate with your fingers from below (or from above if appropriate), whilst also pressing against the vehicle, until the quick-mount NPH clip clicks into place at the bottom (or top). Please ensure that the top and bottom clip closures engage securely behind a retaining tab or the frame of the number plate holder. Do not use the clip if this is not guaranteed! After use, simply push the number plate upward or downward again and remove it.
