For connecting masonry walls using the butt joint method
Masonry connectors must be embedded completely in the joint. To ensure this, insert the connector halfway up the joint and cover the top with mortar
Minimum joint thickness 2 mm (for masonry constructed using the thin bed method)
Install perpendicular between the end faces of the walls being connected
Butt joints between walls running at different angles must always have mortar applied across the entire thickness of the wall
Minimum bond length: 140 mm
