Variants

Plasticity class S2 is achieved by adding CERAfix 420:

CERAfix 410 is applied as a quick-hardening, solid thin-bed mortar for working under time constraints. Suitable for laying ceramic tiles and slabs using the thin-bed or medium-bed processes. CERAfix 410 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and heated and unheated surfaces.

The requirements of the DIN 18157-1 and the recognised technical regulations apply for preparing the laying surfaces. Check the laying surface and determine residual moisture using the CM method.

Surface
The surface must be dry, load-bearing, sufficiently flat, free of continuous cracks and free of separating substances and loose parts. Prime absorbent surfaces with CERAfix 101.
Suitable surfaces:
- Securely adhered tile coverings, concrete, cement screed (CT), floor levelling compounds, calcium sulphate screeds (CA, CAF), poured tarmac screeds (AS), magnesia screeds (MA)
- Cement-based plasters, gypsum plaster, lime cement plaster, lightweight plaster tile bearing elements, fibreboard panels, plasterboards, cavity floor, cement and fibre cement panels, decoupling mats and panels, dry screeds
Sealing in a compound structure; the suitability of the surface must be checked and observed taking into account the planned DIN 18534 and DIN 18531 water impact classes.
- In a clean bucket, mix CERAfix 410 with clean water into a homogeneous mixture
- Mixture ratio: 7.75-8.25 l water
- Mix through again after the corresponding maturing time
Do not mix with other mortars containing cement!
Apply a contact layer on the surface with CERAfix 410 and comb through with a suitable cut. Lay covering materials within the bonding time.
