Highly suitable for compressed air, hydraulic, pneumatic and a variety of other types of applications.
For sealing connections that seal in the thread (metal thread up to 4 inch, plastic thread up to 1½) for: cold drinking water, warm drinking water, hot water +130°C, heating and gas
Roughen up the thread. Beginning at the start of the thread, wrap the sealing tape crosswise with tension in the thread direction. Do not insert the sealing tape directly into the threads. Cut the sealing tape using a cutting device and press on the loose end. Screw on and tighten using a pipe wrench. Readjust if necessary.
