- Expands the spring compressor's application area
- Particularly advantageous for springs with a low number of coils as one extra coil is always clamped automatically
- This spring is not clamped to a block as this is not permitted by the manufacturer
- Greatly facilitates removal and assembly or makes them possible in the first place
