Variants
- Rapid binding of pollutants dissolved in the water through ion exchange. Ammonium and phosphorus binding deprives the algae of nourishment
- Can be regenerated with 1% iodine-free saline solution (ideally every two to three months)
- Grinding degree: 16–32 mm
