Packaging unit

The packaging unit defines the number of articles in one packaging. In the catalog segment you can choose from different packaging units if a pop-up menu is displayed.

Just leave the field empty if you don't know the packaging unit when directly entering the article number in the shopping basket or when importing with Easy-/VarioScan. The packaging unit will be determined automatically.

Structure of our article number

The article number is made up of the following: VVVVAAABBB
VVVV = 4 digits for prefix number (please note that the first digit is currently always 0)
AAA = 3 digits for dimension part 1
BBB = 3 digits for dimension part 2

Example article number structures:
Example 1: Screw with dimensions of 4x10 mm:
00574 10 (2 spaces between the 4 and the 10)

Example 2: Screw with dimensions of 10x20 mm:
005710 20 (1 space between the 10 and the 20)

Example 3: Flat washer with an internal diameter of 6 mm:

Information on price display

Price per packaging unit (PU):
The displayed price is always in line with the displayed packaging, if the PU is 250 the price for 250 units, if the PU is 300 the price for 300 units.

Price with price key representation (PSL):
The price always applies to a quantity ruled through the price key:
Price for 1 unit
Price for 100 units
Price for 1000 units

The quantity shows the number of pieces or units of measure contained in the order or delivery for the respective article.
In contrast to sales packaging and secondary packaging, the disposal costs for chemical-technical products are shown separately. The breakdown of the individual costs can be found on the relevant products and also in the shopping cart, as well as in our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

NoticeThe colour display is for guidance only. For an exact colour selection, please use our colour sample cards.

Acetate silicon for wet rooms is not suitable for adhesive bonding or filling cavities. Complies with building material class B2 in accordance with DIN 4102. Can be used around swimming pools, but not in swimming pools.

Due to the large number of existing paint systems, you should conduct your own tests to check compatibility with paint. Risk of yellowing on contact with white alkyd resin paints cannot be excluded. Risk of corrosion when used on bare iron and non-ferrous metals.

After skin formation, do not spray any liquid (e.g. sealant smoothing agent or water) onto the joint as staining may occur.

When using smoothing agent/water, it must only be used before the skin formation time and must be completely removed after use with a smoothing tool. Excess quantities next to the joint must also be removed immediately. Otherwise staining may occur.

For materials and substances that come into contact with the sealant after processing, the user must ensure that their content or fumes cannot cause any impairment or alteration (e.g. discolouration) of the sealant joint. To determine the precise colour, use sample card art. no. 5995000405

Silicone has a tendency to discolour in dark areas where there is no UV exposure. Avoid contact with VKP tape.

1) Functionality in sanitation applications depends on the moisture load and the ventilation properties.

2). The 10-year warranty applies exclusively to the UV, weathering and ageing resistance properties of the product. Functionality cannot be guaranteed as this is dependent on proper application.

3) Different polycarbonate types require adhesion and compatibility tests prior to application. Stress cracks can appear in particular when applying on cutting edge.

4) There is a risk of discolouration when in contact with wood. Preliminary tests are always required.

Tested in accordance with EN 15651 Parts 1, 2, 3

  • Fire behaviour: Class E

  • Stability under load: < 2 mm

  • Resetting properties: > 70%

  • Volume loss: < 10%, for art. no. 0892 215: < 20%

  • Adhesion/expansion on exposure to heat, water and artificial light: Passed

  • Durability: Passed

  • Tensile properties at -30°C: : < 0.9 MPa

  • Tensile behaviour under pre-stress at -30°C: Passed

EMICODE EC1plus: Very low emissions: The EMICODE classification system distinguishes the environmental and health compatibility of construction products. The lowest-emission products bear the EC1plus mark.
