For professional covering and sealing of all types of joints in the home and construction sector, e.g. in window installation in renovations
During window installation, trim the protruding joint foam so that it is flush with the window frame. Clean the surface to which the product is to be attached. The surface must be stable, dry and free from grease, chips and dust.
Cut the cover strip to the correct length, e.g. using mitre snips for mitres. Remove the cover liner by a few centimetres from both sealing tapes and fold it outwards. Lightly press the profile against the reveal and stick it to the reveal and the window frame. Continue to gradually remove both cover liners and stick the profile on firmly. A tight bond is achieved when the protective lip lies neatly against the surface.
After removing the cover liners, press the entire length of the profile down against the window frame with sufficient contact pressure.
Possible defects, especially in end and mitre areas, must be repaired with adhesive sealant. Mitre corners can optionally be stuck on to cover the mitres.
Use in applications other than window installation is carried out in the same way.
