Attachment to newly registered vehicles has been compulsory since 10.10.2007
- Vehicles for passenger transport M2 – car with more than 9 seats M3
- Vehicles for goods transport N3 / N4 – LCV with max. weight exceeding 7.5 t
- Trailers and semi-trailers (O)
O3 – trailers with maximum weight of 3.5 t to 10 t
O4 – trailers with total weight exceeding 10 t
Attachment to existing vehicles is permitted
- Vehicles for passenger transport M2 – car with more than 9 seats M3
- Vehicles for goods transport (N)
N1 / N2 – LCV with maximum weight up to 7.5 t
N3 / N4 – LCV with maximum weight exceeding 7.5 t
- Trailers and semi-trailers (O)
O2 – trailers with maximum weight of 0.75 t to 3.5 t
O3 – trailers with maximum weight of 3.5 t to 10 t
O4 – trailers with total weight exceeding 10 t
