Advantages of ring- and series-connected water supply networks:
- Ideal for protection against pathogens such as legionella, because they ensure that water circulates constantly in a controlled manner. This prevents stagnant water and ensures constant water exchange.
- Much lower pressure losses compared to networks with T-piece fittings
- Ring networks allow a smaller pipe diameter because the water can flow back to the supply point from both sides.
