Variants
Extractors are solutions for rusted, stripped or damaged nuts or screw heads. A general distinction is drawn between interior and exterior application. Internal application is ideal for handling hexagon socket screws or TX screws. External application is primarily suitable for hexagon head profiles.
Select a suitable extractor and drive it into the screw using a 13 mm socket and ratchet. The aggressive conical spiral of the extractor bites securely into the screw material and enables it to be safely extracted. Also suitable for extracting broken-off bolts and screws. Spot drill the broken-off bolt or screw. Enlarge the bore by half a millimetre up to Ø 6 mm. Enlarge the bore by one millimetre for Ø 8–14 mm. Select a suitable extractor, screw it into the drilled hole and subsequently extract the screw or bolt.
