The adhesive pads provide UV and weatherproof adhesive bonds that are particularly suitable for outdoor installations that are exposed to direct sunlight, rain or temperature fluctuations. Due to their elastic acrylate material, they are vibration resistant and absorb shocks, making the pads ideal for use in vehicles or machines. They are also chemically resistant and suitable for applications where there is contact with cleaning agents or mild chemicals.
The adhesive system ensures invisible fixing that enables neat solutions without visible elements. In addition, they enable efficient and tool-free fastening to support production, maintenance and repair processes.
Application is simple, fast and free of residue, which makes it particularly attractive for point of sale (POS), trade and industry.
The soft, malleable adhesive also has a sealing effect and offers excellent adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Bonds entire surfaces without clamping, regardless of whether they are smooth or textured. Ideal for a wide range of applications and materials with high surface energy, such as metals, wood, concrete, glass, polycarbonate, ABS, hard PVC, PMMA etc.
Not recommended for use on low-energy materials such as PE, PP, powder coatings, Teflon or hard-to-glue surfaces, for example, PA, rubber, silicone, soft PVC, EPDM etc. Adhesion may be impaired on painted surfaces.

- Automotive industry: Fixing trim strips, emblems or small fixtures, invisibly attaching panels, covers and control elements, fixing sensors and small components, neat and orderly routing of cables and conduits
- Construction and architecture: Fixing trims, wall and ceiling panels, trim strips, covers, cladding or decorative elements without visible fasteners, invisible fixing of ornaments, mirrors or glass surfaces
- Electronics and equipment manufacturing: Fixing components, sensors and circuit boards, invisible and vibration-dampening fixing of housing covers, protective films or displays, flexible fixing of cables and wires within devices. Elastic adhesive dots reduce mechanical stress and increase the service life of sensitive components
- Furniture industry: Invisible fixing of decorative elements, strips or connecting pieces that must last for a long time
- Art and exhibitions: Mounting exhibits, pictures or signs that are often exposed to changing lighting conditions
Clean the surfaces to be bonded, use suitable gloves and, depending on the surface, clean with acetone cleaner, pre-cleaner or IPA cleaner and a lint-free cloth.
Then wipe the surface with a second lint-free cloth and allow to dry. Sanding the surface slightly may improve adhesion. Also remove any oxidisation on metals. Always thoroughly remove any sanding dust before bonding. The surface must be free of dust and grease before applying. Do not use compressed air that contains oil.
Apply the Power PLUS fixing pad to the first surface to be joined, trying not to touch the adhesive surface. Avoid air pockets. Maximum bonding power is only achieved under optimum application conditions. The optimum application temperature of ≥ +10 °C must be ensured for the adhesive pad and surface and must not exceed +40 °C. Press the pad onto the first surface to be joined using the pressure roller with a pressure of at least 20 N/cm². Remove the protective film and apply the second part to be bonded.
Note: When removing, do not grasp the adhesive pad; remove the protective film in a single piece.
Apply the second part to be bonded immediately after removing the protective film and press it on with a pressure of at least 20 N/cm². Avoid air pockets and ensure correct positioning, as it will no longer be possible to remove again due to the high adhesive force. In order to establish a bond, the tape requires sufficient contact pressure (20 N/cm²) and then sufficient time before exposure to the full load. The final adhesive force is achieved after approx. 48 hours at room temperature. The bond must not be placed under any load until this time. The resilience of the bond depends on the force applied.
