Connection elements with zinc-plated chromium(VI)-free thick-film passivation (ZSM) offer a future-proof alternative compared to surfaces containing chromium(VI). The coating consists of a zinc layer with passivation on a chromium(III) basis with sealing. Washers with ZSM coating can be paired with ZSML as well as VZD-coated threaded parts.
