Variants
- Forming a second water-bearing level in conjunction with insulating wedge, EPDM sealing tape and reveal plate
- Any water coming from the component joint or accumulating in the area of the interface gap is safely drained to the outside
- The EPDM sealing corner can be cut open to the left or right due to its closed geometry, allowing for flexible application on the right or left side

For creating a lower window ledge in area of the outer window sill. In conjunction with EPDM sealing tape and an insulating wedge, a second water-bearing level is achieved under the window sill. Applied especially when using a window sill system without proof of sealing.
Installation:
The EPDM sealing corner is inserted into the joint up to the back edge of the multifunctional tape or VKP tape. The sealing corner is cut open from the outer edge of the window frame. When using an insulating wedge, the cut is made in the sloped part of the wedge.
It is important that the sealing corner leads to the drip edge and that this is maintained when cutting to length.
The EPDM sealing corner is glued down into the joint with EPDM sealing tape adhesive/SMP EPDM sealing tape glue. For better adhesion, it is recommended to roughen the sealing corner where it is to be glued with abrasive paper. The EPDM sealing tape is then placed over the EPDM sealing corner and glued in place with EPDM sealing tape adhesive/SMP EPDM sealing tape glue.
