According to TRbF 143 (technical rules for flammable liquids), portable plastic vessels with a volume of more than 5 litres may only be used for the active storage of flammable liquids with a flash point of up to 35 °C if they are sufficiently electrostatically conductive or, during active storage, are equipped with a sufficiently conductive device.
