- Cut the Würth paintwork protection film to the required size. Intended for license plate lights, key holes, fog lights etc. with corresponding cut-outs. First tape over the cut-out for license plate lighting etc., use a pen to mark the cut-out on the paint film, remove the paintwork protection film and cut out the marked hole with scissors.
- Remove the backing paper. Generously moisten the adhesive film side and the paint surface to be glued with Würth assembly fluid (spray bottle). Position the paintwork protection film. The film can be stretched without deforming around curves and corners. Using a blade, spread the assembly fluid in overlapping lines, working from the inside outwards.
- However, if there are still air or water bubbles, remove as much of the paintwork protection film as is necessary, spray again with assembly fluid and repeat the process. With any folds, lightly heat up with a hair dryer and smooth the film using a blade.
