Self-clearing groove in the tip area
The self-clearing groove milled into the tip inhibits splitting forces exerted by the screw in wood, in particular where the screw is used close to edges.
Special countersunk head, D = 7.2 mm, with light lens and under-head restraining grooves

Asymmetrical thread
Single-start thread with sharp tip. Screw with ring thread and self-clearing groove in tip area, preventing splitting of wood even when working close to edges. The screw-in torque is considerably lower than with standard chipboard screws, which extends the service life of the processing machine and the bit insert.
