Variants
With the particularly ABS-LockSeal XL Bitu sealing cuff , you can insulate anchor points and system supports. Our XL cuffs have a length of 300 mm, while the plates have a diameter of 420 mm. The homogeneously manufactured seal has been designed especially for bitumen roofs and has groove cuts at intervals of 20 mm. This allows the seal to be cut neatly to the required length.
ABS-LockSeal XL Bitu sealing cuffs are available in two different versions. The smaller model is used for sealing securing devices and system supports, with a diameter of 16 mm. The cuffs are ideal for use with the anchor point (ABS-Lock III and ABS-Lock X) and rope harness systems (ABS-Lock SYS) from ABS Safety. If the anchoring devices from ABS Safety are fitted with an additional support tube, use the wider cuff that has been manufactured for pipes with a diameter of 42 mm.

The head of the sleeves is then sealed with heat-shrink tubing. Heat the tubing with a heat gun to make it permanently tight and moisture-proof. The required heat-shrink tubing is of course included in the delivery. Sealing sleeves for supports with a diameter of 16 mm and a diameter of 24 mm are delivered with a 100 mm long heat-shrink tube; tubing for the 42 mm model is 150 mm.
