Würth anchor nails or ASSY 3.0 joist hanger screws according to EN 14592 or ETA 11/0190 are to be used as fasteners. The specified load-bearing capacities are for softwood with a characteristic density of ρ_k ≥ 350 kg/m³. Design value of the load-bearing capacity of a fastener: F_VM,Rd = k_mod/g_M = F_1,Rk with g_M = 1.3 Design value of the steel load-bearing capacity of the tension anchor: F_S,Rd = F_S,Rk/g_M2 with g_M2 = 1.25 Design value of the total load-bearing capacity: F_1,Rd = min {n x F_VM,Rd; F_S,Rd} with n = number of nails The design value of the tensile force in the anchor bolt F_B,Edis to be calculated with the design value of the tensile force of a tension anchor F_Ed.
