Wind suction-resistant bonding of heat insulation materials on flat roofs
  • Tested product properties with high resistance to wind loads in accordance with EN 16002 - confirmed by test reports of the I.F.I. in Aachen

  • Mechanical application not required - workload reduced by up to 30 %

  • Depending on the weather, the material is cured after 60 to 120 minutes, allowing subsequent work to be carried out quickly

  • High initial adhesion even at low temperatures - does not run, but instead forms a firm, highly adhesive bead

  • Can be processed at temperatures of +5 °C and above (can temperature must also be at least +5 °C)

Highly efficient and economical

  • Number of adhesive strands up to 25 m building height according to ZVDH (German Central Association of the Roofing Trade) procedure

  • GISCODE PU80
Notice

Adheres to all standard construction substrates such as sanded/slated bituminous membranes, polystyrene and polyurethane dense foam, corrosion-protected sheet steel, fibre cement, aerated concrete, chipboard, hard PVC, stone, plaster, wood, bitumen thick coatings and emulsion paints.

Please ensure that the curing times are observed to allow the propellant gases sufficient time to escape from the structure. Follow the instructions provided by the insulation panel manufacturer.

Meets DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) quality level 2 (2023)

Application area

For clean, economical and permanently secure bonding of heat insulation panels in flat roofs and inclined roofs, as well as filling cavities between individual heat insulation elements. Particularly for uneven substrates in renovations, the insulation adhesive immediately levels any unevenness due to its direct foam structure.

Instructions

For bonding heat insulation panels based on polystyrene (EPS + extruded polystyrene), PIR/PUR hard foam and mineral wool on flat roofs. Four beads, each with a minimum diameter of 30 mm, are required per m². Increase the amount of adhesive used accordingly when applied to edge/corner areas or areas exposed to increased wind suction. The hardening process is accelerated by lightly spraying the adhesive bead with water. Then press on the insulation panel within approx. 8 minutes (depending on the temperature and air humidity).
