The reliable sealing tape is easy to install and perfect for:
- Airtight and vapour-tight internal window joints.
- Plastered indoor reveals in old buildings and prefabricated buildings.
1. Remove any oil, grease and loose material from the application surface.
Second For mineral and highly absorbent surfaces, we recommend using an adhesion primer (butyl primer).
3. Peel the protective film off the butyl strip and position it on the masonry so that the butyl strip lies behind the inner window frame; press on firmly using a press-on roller.
4. Fill the joint with PURLOGIC Top or PURLOGIC Flex foam.
5. Peel the protective paper off the self-adhesive strip and stick to the window frame with an overhang of 10 to 15 mm; press on firmly using a press-on roller.
6. The sealing tape can be covered with a strip.
7. The butyl strip must not come into contact with Flexband adhesive, Flexband adhesive Plus or EPDM sealing tape adhesive.
