Notice

Before attaching the nozzle, we recommend discarding approx. 2 cm of sealant as irregularities in terms of colour may occur in the tip of the cartridge. The nozzle tip must also be replaced when changing the cartridge. All RAL colours in accordance with the RAL colour chart, art. no. 0705 800 010, are available. All neon and metallic colours are excluded. Caution! Colour silicone is a special product tailored for customers. For production reasons, minor fluctuations in the colour may occur. This is not a product defect. It is not possible to exchange the products. Carry out colour matching with existing material prior to application. Cannot be painted or plastered. Not suitable for use underwater or in aquariums. Does not adhere to PP, PE, PTFE or bitumen. Colour silicone is not suitable for bonding or filling cavities. Due to the large number of existing paint and glazing formulas, especially on alkyd resin paints and powder-coated aluminium, it is necessary to perform your own tests to check adhesion. Risk of yellowing on contact with white alkyd resin paints cannot be excluded.

Do not use in applications involving contact with pre-compressed sealing tapes.

Application area

Interior and exterior connection joints and joining natural stone (e.g. granite and marble)

Suitable for wet rooms

Instructions

The substrate must be intact, clean, dry and free from grease, rust and water. Do not use in heavy rain. Observe the joint dimensioning. Prime the joints with PE back-fill material, art. 0875... On absorbent and porous substrates (e.g. concrete), priming (silicone primer 0892170) improves adhesion. When using smoothing agents, it must only be used before the skin formation time and must be completely removed after use with a smoothing tool. Excess quantities next to the joint must also be removed immediately. Otherwise staining may occur. Please observe the "General Notes on Application for Sealants" overview sheet. For more information, please refer to the technical data sheet.
