Fast crystalline water bonding
Tested in line with EN 12004 C2 FT
- Fire behaviour: A1/A1fl
- Adhesive tensile strength after dry storage: ≥ 1 N/mm²
- Adhesive tensile strength after water storage: ≥ 1 N/mm²
- Adhesive tensile strength after warm storage: ≥ 1 N/mm²
- Adhesive tensile strength after storage in alternating freezing/thawing conditions: ≥ 1 N/mm²
- Early adhesive tensile strength after 6 h >/= 0.5 N/mm²
- During laying, the product-specific properties of the covering materials (tendency to discolour, curling etc.) and the laying recommendations of the natural stone, tile and panel manufacturers must be observed. We recommend carrying out trial adhesions if necessary!
- Thin-bed mortar that has begun to harden must not be made workable again by adding water or fresh mortar!
- When laying tiles and panels on surfaces subject to high water loads, a suitable CERAfix system seal must be chosen according to the water effects!
- Protect surfaces that do not require treatment against exposure to CERAfix 412 tile adhesive!
- Contact between the cement-based tile mortar and the magnesite screed causes destruction of the magnesite screed by "magnesia expansion" chemical reaction. Backwards moisture load from the substrate must be prevented using appropriate means. Magnesite substrates must be mechanically roughened and primed with CERAfix 103 epoxy resin. Spread plenty of TERAfix 430 quartz sand over the fresh epoxy resin layer. After observing the specified reaction time of approx. 12-16 hours, perform laying work.
- CERAfix 412 Plus is a hydraulically curing mortar that must be protected against the effects of water and frost until fully cured, which can take several days in unfavourable weather conditions.
Currently applicable regulations and the relevant standards must be observed!
For example: DIN 18157, DIN 18352, DIN 18560, DIN 18 202, DIN 1055

For secure laying of natural stone panels with high and low water absorption. Particularly suitable for laying light-coloured, transparent materials and materials sensitive to discolouration, such as marble, granite, limestone and quartzite etc. on substrates such as concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete, suitable plaster, cement and calcium sulphate screed/hot screed, masonry or gypsum plasterboard. It is also suitable for laying ceramic coverings with high and low water absorption, such as earthenware, stoneware and stoneware tiles (water absorption ≤ 0.5 %).
Thanks to the quick, crystalline water bonding, CERAfix 412 Plus stone adhesive offers increased protection against discolouration through the constituents of the stone. It can also be used as a bonding material for lightweight panels, e.g. hard foam and tile support elements. Suitable for laying tiles on all CERAfix system seals.
Mix tile adhesive PLUS CERAfix 412 with drinking water in a clean container, ensuring mixture is free from clumps
Mixing ratio:
5.0 - 6.0 l water: 25.0 kg tile adhesive PLUS CERAfix 412
Give the product approximately 2 minutes to mature and then stir again. Use the adhesive mortar within the processing time. Spread a flat layer of the mixed adhesive on the surface and comb through with the toothed trowel suitable for the panel size. Lay the covering materials within the adhesive drying time (test with your finger). Always clean the mixing container before mixing fresh mortar, as setting tile adhesive PLUS CERAfix 412 acts as an accelerator. Do not mix with other adhesives.
