Solvent-free universal primer for walls and floors in indoor and outdoor areas. Ideal for priming non-absorbent to highly absorbent substrates.
  • Universal dispersion primer for walls and floors in indoor and outdoor areas.

  • Suitable for priming non-absorbent to highly absorbent substrates.

  • Fast-drying

  • Concentrate, can be diluted with water in a ratio of up to 1:3.

  • Creates an extremely strong adhesive bond between the substrate and subsequent tile adhesives and fillers.

  • Regulates absorption behaviour and protects substrates from the water mixed in mineral mortars.

  • Prevents the formation of ettringite

  • For use as a special primer on calcium sulphate screeds or gypsum plaster before applying conventional Würth tile adhesives. Suitable for any tile size.

  • Suitable for application on newly laid calcium sulphate-bonded screeds with a maximum residual moisture of up to 1.2 CM%, for tile sizes up to 120 x 120 cm.
Notice

Higher temperatures and low relative humidity accelerate the film formation time; lower temperatures and higher relative humidity extend the film formation time.

Instructions

Depending on the surface properties, area of application and absorbency, can be diluted with water from 1:3 to 1:6. With a mixing ratio of 1:3, the treated surface is slightly solidified and significantly reduces absorbency. A mixing ratio of 1:6 binds dust. Apply CERAfix 102 with a universal or paste brush, construction or ceiling roller or a suitable spraying device. Puddling or oversaturation of the surface must be prevented during application. When CERAfix 102 is applied by spraying, roll or brush it again when freshly laid. Allow CERAfix 102 to dry fully before proceeding with additional steps.

When using with CERAfix 201, CERAfix 202, CERAfix 301 or CERAfix 302 products, a mixing ratio of 1:3 must be used.

Surface:

The surface must be solid, load-bearing, clean, dry and free from separating substances. Separating materials or layers such as layers of sinter, dust, oil, rubber abrasion, paints etc. must be removed with suitable measures such as blasting, milling, sanding, suction and/or removal of oil. The surface must have sufficient load-bearing capacity for the active loads – refer to DIN 1055. The requirements regarding surface tensile strength are in line with the intended purpose. Observe the prescribed residual moistures for subsequent coverings. When doing so, ensure that the permitted residual moisture content is observed in accordance with current technical leaflets. The CM measurement must be conducted in accordance with the current work instruction "Interface coordination for heated floor constructions". Subsequent moisture ingress must be prevented. During application and in the week after, the air, material and surface temperature must not exceed +5°C.
