To use a fully traversable rope safety system, you need a rope glider that travels freely over the intermediate and curved elements. The ABS ProSlide is a high-strength aluminium rope glider that can be used with any ABS-Lock SYS rope protection system. Suitable for both 6 mm and 8 mm-thick stainless steel ropes.
The removable rope glider automatically closes and secures 1 person according to DIN EN 795:2012, C against falling. It opens with the red release button.
A special feature is its larger stop ring, allowing a multitude of different snap hooks and tube hooks to be attached to the ABS ProSlide.
The rope glider has essentially been developed for traversable rope systems with 6 and 8 mm steel rope.
You can also use the rope glider with non-traversable ABS Safety rope systems.
The ProSlide rope glider is opened via the side mounted red release button and closed above the 6 or 8 mm steel rope. No additional snap hooks are required.
